Per City of Wylie Ordinance 2000-01, residential and business alarms are required to obtain a permit from the City of Wylie. Permits must be on file, regardless of the monitoring agency. Permits are currently $4.16 monthly for burglary or fire and $8.33 monthly for burglary and fire. Fees are collected on the City of Wylie utility bill monthly.
